What we collect

Only what you type into a form on this site: your email, where you live, what you do, whether you can work without sponsorship, which employment structures you accept, and — if you send one — a link to your resume or LinkedIn. Nothing is scraped, bought or enriched from anywhere else. We never ask about passport, nationality, visa type or how you came to be in Europe.

Why

One purpose: matching you to roles, or answering the hiring question you asked. No newsletter unless you asked for one, and your details go to no company until we have named that company to you first.

Where it lives

Those are the processors. If that list changes, this page changes first.

Cookies

One cookie, and only if you say yes. Google Analytics sets it to count visits and show us which pages bring people in. Nothing else on this site sets a cookie, and no advertiser gets anything. Decline and every page works the same.

Changed your mind either way? Reset your choice and the question comes back.

Deletion — one step

Reply to any email from us and we delete everything we hold on you. That is the whole procedure. You can also write to daniel@remoteamerican.com.

The calculator

The calculator runs in your browser. What you type into it is never tied to your name or email. We count usage in aggregate: which role, which country, which employment structure, and salary rounded to the nearest 10k. Never who ran it.
